SOVRIN UPDATE

I finally made my first wholesale American Apparel order....and it was a bit intimidating. I ended up spending quite a bit of money....kind of scary because if this new clothing company doesn't work...I've lost a lot of money.

So if any of you haven't followed what I'm doing, or don't know what I'm talking about with this company thing...here's the low down.

I used to have my own clothing company kind of thing, I started it in '07 and just ended the company around a month or two ago. It was fun while it lasted, but it just was very tiring. The company was called maverick, and I would take recycled clothing and hand sew it into something new and cool. But after doing it all by my lonesome, and about 300 sales later....I have worn out my love of sewing. (I only now seldom get the inspiration to sew) Kind of sad.

However, I'm one of those people that doesn't feel at ease just doing a 40hr/week job in retail. SO I've decided to try out a new type of media: designing/printing t-shirts. I will be releasing 3 designs for my first round. And actually I think I'll be showing them either today or tomorrow. I've decided on these designs because they're prints that I've been trying to find but couldn't....so hopefully there are other people who feel the same way and will enjoy them just as much as I do.

Another thing, due to it being my first round or try at this whole thing....just in case if it's a flop (which i'm hoping it won't be) I'm going to have VERY limited quantities. If it works well the first time around, I will order much more the second time, and also start selling to boutiques. I'm hoping to possibly reach Milwaukee and work from there.

The print quality will be done in a way so that the ink is light, and gives a really neat vintage feel. I will not be doing the printing myself, but going local to a place in Middleton. I feel that the amount of cost/time/lack of space just wouldn't work with me managing Hot Topic. But this way I can still create designs and have fun with this :)

My current storefront will be online here: SOVRIN

I will be selling all prints in whatever style at $25 flat.

Once I release prints if you want to have anything on hold or reserve for you just email me. I will ask that you pay beforehand to ensure that you receive the top. Shipping will be roughly $4.
