Here are some of the beginning edits from the photoshoot we did a couple days ago. I'm pretty happy with the results!

SONG OF THE DAY
Been a while since I've posted. SOVRIN has grown more than I could ever imagine. It's fantastic, but I have been extremely busy filling orders and continuing to build and grow. I'm trying to not let myself get too engulfed in work and still allow myself time to just be. I've been getting back into riding this year......and may actually take the plunge and buy my first horse. I've been wanting this for at least 15 years, and the time may have come.
Anyways, I'd like to leave with this song.
It's a current favorite. I've been re-listening to my BIRP (Blalock's Indie Rock Playlist) albums, and finding some forgotten gems.

If you have never heard of the magical site known as BIRP.FM ....and you are a lover of independent artists and looking for some new (and free) music, this is the place to go. Every month they release a colorful playlist of 100+ songs. I look forward to the 1st every month.

OUTFIT OTHER BITS
Here are some photos from my instagram. You can follow me @sovrin_
Here's a photo of one of the newest tanks! It's made from an organic bamboo stretch fleece. It's super comfortable
Some SOVRIN tees <3 Newest designs!
Here are a few outfits I wore the last couple weeks. It's been dreadfully cold and gross, so I haven't been dressing up much. This winter has been horrible and I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather to trickle in.
A couple days ago we had a random warm day (being winter in Wisconsin, warm was 50 some degrees) It really helped kick my winter depression and got me motivated to do some work on my patio. I painted my settee and table(which I thrifted for $6) and then upholstered the cushion and also made some pillows. I'm going for a mediterranean theme.....and believe me the colors I was drawn to definitely surprised me. It's pretty much the opposite of my indoor decorations....which consist of skulls, dark colors, and anything morbid.
Here's a little snippit of some of my jewelry, just a selection of my rings :)
Some stacked SOVRIN tees....did a lot of printing! With sales higher I'm working at keeping more printed inventory so I can ship out items much faster.

STORENVY
So this is a bit more personal post (less SOVRIN) I recently found/re-came across storenvy.com and saw that a ton of people are just posting their closets on this site. I have a lot of clothes I barely wear and just get tired of, so I figured i'd give it a go! I've already made 2 sales and it's only been up for a couple days :) It's super simple and pretty addicting if you ask me!
Here's my link: WWW.TRICE.STORENVY.COM
I keep going on there to shop myself, and am trying to find someone with my same style....so I can buy all their clothes :p If you have a storenvy post yours in the comments! I'd love to see what you have in your closet :)
Anyways.....here are some of the things I'm selling! Almost everything is under $7.....

SOMETHING YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT SOVRIN
One thing I haven't really advertised much yet about SOVRIN is one of my views/morals that I try to support and follow as much as possible: environmentally friendly clothing and supporting the idea of sustainability.
Beyond getting rad printed clothing, know that I do my best to try and make my apparel as ethically and eco friendly as possible. How you ask? Here are a few ways:
1.) I print using water based inks. These inks are the most eco friendly of all. During the curing process of the inks, water is vaporized into the air.....when other types of inks are cured chemicals are vaporized into the air....NOT COOL.
2.) I print on American Apparel. American Apparel is made in L.A.....it is sweatshop free.....and people are offered fair living wages. I have heard arguments on this, however, almost every other apparel wholesalers for printing doesn't even mention where their stuff comes from (overseas in sweatshops) because they are just in it to profit as much as possible no matter how unethical their company may be.
3.) I am switching my fabrics (for the witching hour line) over to organic bamboo blends. Not much else to say about it besides it's organic, and bamboo grows like wildfire....not to mention the fabric is exceptional! It's a bit more pricey...but it's worth it to know your fabric came from a good place. (I do have 1 item that is not yet made with bamboo due to the drape/make of it)
Well those are the main ways of how I'm trying to better the world. I do have plans/dreams in the future to open a shop that carries only fashion forward small independent designers. (so you can find ethically sound apparel, while looking like a badass)

RECEND FINDS/DREAMING OF A SHOP
I've been dabbling in the idea of opening up a store front for the last year.....I just started a (secret) pinterest board of all the things I would carry in my shop. It would be a dream to carry only small/independent businesses from across the world. Supporting the small businesses is extremely important to me. It's sustainable and more unique. I would carry clothing that is meant for the everyday person, but that has some sort of dark/badass twist to it. Jewelry that is handcrafted and unique.....runic, anatomical, vintage. Bags made by hand from real leather. Killer graphic apparel for the everyday wear. Core basics made with superior quality. And of course, SOVRIN. I would love to be able to sell the full Witching Hour Line in store on top of all my printed apparel. The design for the shop itself would be rustic/warehouse style. Pale wood floors, brushed silver hardlines.....but offset by a white fur accent rug next to a black plush couch/seating arrangement......
I've been thinking about this for a while now.
I figure the first step is to at least see what I would even put in this shop. Then if the day comes.....and a spot opens up....and the time is right....I'll be all planned through for the inventory.
ANYWAYS.....for the pictures.....
It's been a bit since I've been shopping, but my boyfriend and I went downtown for a shopping day trip. Here are my finds! (some from today some from a previous purchase....that just had to be shown because it's so cool)
Shredded crop sweater: Kill City
4 star beanie: Freedom Skate Shop
Thrasher scarf: Freedom Skate Shop
World War II hoodie: Grit N' Glory

PHOTO SHOOT AND NEW ITEMS COMING!
It's that time again.....taking photos of some new designs and styles! It is my every wish to have these posted within a couple days.
I'm really really pumped about these new designs :D
The rack of new goodies! (Don't mind my cow looking cat underneath)
I turned my little studio apartment into a photo studio....I'm actually really happy with how it all turned out....a lot more room than I had expected.
Also, if you have never heard of the band "I Am Oak" ....go listen. They are my new favorite. :)
